How to Post On X to Get a D1 Football Scholarship

If you’re a high school football player serious about earning a scholarship, one of the simplest yet most powerful things you can do is post consistently on X (Twitter).

During one of our coaching calls, we explained why daily posting isn’t just about sharing highlights—it’s about staying top of mind with college coaches. Here’s the breakdown:

Why Daily Posting Matters

Every post you make is a new chance for coaches to see you. When they notice a strong play, they’ll often click onto your profile. From there, they’ll find your pinned highlights, see your consistency, and be much more likely to respond to your DMs.

How Often Should You Post?

One play per day is perfect. For example, if your weekly highlight reel has 7–8 plays, spread them out across the week and use the last post to share the full video.

What Should You Include?

Keep it simple:

Upload the clip directly to X (don’t just link it).
Add a quick note like “See the full video here” and link to your profile.
Don’t stress over captions—just post consistently.

Proof It Works

One athlete in our program recently got a DM from a UTSA coach after consistently posting clips. That connection didn’t happen by luck—it was a direct result of him showing up every day and putting his best plays out there. Coaches noticed, shared, and responded.

Bottom line: If you want to increase your chances of earning a football scholarship, make posting on X a daily habit. Consistency leads to visibility, and visibility leads to opportunities.
